Couples Therapy helps you:
Identify unhealthy interactional patterns and cycles and replace them with healthy communication and problem resolution skills.
Intentionally and meaningfully use repair attempts when attachment injuries have been created.
Practice empathy and understanding with your partner.
Identify your love language, and understand and speak your partners’ as well.
Use past trauma as a strength and learning experience.

My approach to couples therapy comes from a place of non-judgment and hope: believing that neither you nor your partner are the “problem,” but that it’s simply the cycle you’re in that needs an adjustment.

Sessions are 50 minutes in a weekly or biweekly basis depending on your needs. I offer a safe, nurturing, non-judgmental environment for you to be vulnerable and work as a team through a variety of issues you might be presenting. We explore the underlying causes of issues, identify areas for growth, and work towards a more fulfilling partnership.
